The area of a square garden is 450sq.m what is its length from one corner to the opposite corners

Area = 450sq.m
side = square root of 450
hypotenuse = x

 By pythagoras theorem 
                  
               square of one side + square of another side = square of hypotenuse
                   
              = 450 + 450 = x*x
              = 900 = x*x
              = x = square root of 900

 Therefore x = 30
