Area of square = 144

Also

Area of square = Side²

So,

Side²=144cm

Side = √144

√144= 12

So side=12cm

Perimeter of square = {Side{\times{4}}}

Perimeter of square = {12{\times{4\:=\:48}}}

Perimeter of square = 48 cm

area of square = side × side

144 = side x side

side =12cm

perimeter = 4×side

perimeter =4×12

perimeter =48
