area of square= 36 sq cm

as rectangle perimeter is equal to the area of square. so,

perimeter = 36cm

breadth = 4 cm

length = ?

let the length will be x

so according to the formula of perimeter of rectangle:-

perimeter = 2( l+b )

36 = 2 ( x+4 )

36 = 2x + 8

36-8 = 2x

28 = 2x

x = 28 ÷ 2

x = 14

so the length of rectangle will be 14 cm.
