the area of the square is 64sq.cm

let the side be a.

area of the sq. = a²

64cm²= a²

√64cm² = a

8 cm = a

Now as we get the side we can find the perimeter of the square.

let the perimeter of the sq. be x

perimeter of the square= 4× a

x = 4×8 cm

x= 32 cm

so the perimeter of the square is 32 cm . Ans
