Answer:

Given,

Area of Square = Area of Rectangle

Area of Square

Area of Square = S × S

S = 6 m

Area of Square = 6 m × 6 m

= 36 m²

Area of Rectangle

Area of Rectangle = L × B

L = 9 m

B = B

Finding the Breadth

It is given that, the area of rectangle is equal to the area of square. So,

9 m × B = 36 m²

(Transversing of 9 m to RHS)

B = 36 m² / 9 m

B = 4 m

Perimeter of Rectangle

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2(L+B)

L = 9 m

B = 4 m

Perimeter of Rectangle is

= 2(9 + 4) m

= 2 × 13 m

= 26 m
