If l is length of rectangle and b is breadth then
Area of rectangle = l×b
Now as in question l=8 and b=2
Area =8× 2
=16
In question it is stated as area of square and rectangle is equa
If x is side of any square then its area is=x×x
Area =16
so,
x×x=16
x=4
So side of square is equal to 4cm
Area of rectangle = l×b
Now as in question l=8 and b=2
Area =8× 2
=16
