Let each side of the square be a cm.

Length of the rectangle=( a+5 )cm

Breadth= a-3 cm

acc. to ques.

ar of square= ar of rectangle

a(square)=(a+5)(a-3)

a(square)=a(square)+2a-15

or 2a+15=0

2a=-15

a=7.5 cm

perimeter of the rectangle= 2(l+b)

                                            =2(12.5+2.5)

                                            =15X2=30 cm

Hope this answer helps.
