the area of a square is equal to the area of rectangle whose length and breadth are 16 cm and 4 cm respectively find the length of side of square​

Here,

Area of square =l^2

Area of rectangle

=l*b

=16*4=64cm^2

According to the given condition,

Area of sq=Area of rectangle

Or, l^2=64cm^2

Hence, l=8cm

We will use the following working formulas to arrive at the result:-

●Area of a square = side × side.

●Area of a rectangle = length × Breadth

= (16 × 4 ) cm sq.

= 64 cm sq.

✍According to the question:

➡️a × a = 64 where a is the side of the square.

=》 a = 8

So the length of the side of the square is 8cm.
