•rectangle whose lengthis 16 cm and breadth is 9cm

Solution:

area of rectangle = 16x9 =144

area of square = 144/4 = 36

Answer:

24 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

area of rectangle = length × breadth

= 16 × 9

= 144 sq cm

area of square = 1/4 × 144

= 36 sq cm

area of square = side^2

36 = side^2

√36 = 6 = side

perimeter of square = 4 × side

= 4 × 6

= 24 cm
