area \: of \: square= \: {x}^{2} −6x+9 \\ area \: of \: square= {side}^{2} \\   {x}^{2} −6x+9= {side}^{2} \\  side= \sqrt{ {x}^{2}−6x+9 } \\  =  \sqrt{ {x}^{2} −3x−3x+9} \\  = \sqrt{x(x−3)−3(x−3)}  \\</p><p>

side =  \sqrt{ {(x - 3)}^{2} }  \\ side = (x - 3)

perimeter of square = 4 x side

= 4 x (x-3)

= 4x -12
