The area of a square of side 10 cm is greater than the area of rectangle of sides 10 cm*8 cm by :

area of square=side²

=10×10

=100cm²

area of rectangle=l×b

=10×8=80cm²

difference=100-80=20cm²

so option 2nd is correct
