side of square=16cm

area of square= side×side

therefore area of square=16×16=256cmsq

and given rectangle perimeter=100cm

length=4times it breadth

perimeter of rectangle=2(l+b)

thus, 2(4b+b)=100cm

2(5b)=100cm

10b=100cm

b=100cm/10

b=10cm

hence length of rectangle=4×10=40cm and breadth =10cm
