The area of a square of side 16cm is the same as that of a rectangle of 64cm. Then what is the width of the rectangle?

The area of the square = 256

Thus, the area of the rectangle is = 256

2(l+b) = 256

L+b= 256/2

L+b= 128

B= 128- l

B= 128-64

B= 64

area of square= area of rectangle

16.16=64.x

256/64=x
