Given:-

• Side of square =9cm

• Length of rectangle =27 cm

• Area of square=area of rectangle

To find out:-

Area of rectangle and breadth of square

___________________

Formula used:-

Area of square =side ²

Area of rectangle =2 ×(l+b)

___________________

Solution:-

Side=9cm

Area of square =9²cm²

=81 cm²

Also

Area of square =Area of rectangle

Thus area of rectangle = 81cm²

l×b =81

27×b=81

b=81/27

b=3 cm

Verification:-

We have breadth (b)=3cm and length (l) =27 cm

Area of rectangle =l×b=27×3 cm²=81 cm²

Hence, verified

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:-

⇒ Area of square=side ² sq.unit

⇒ Area of rectangle =length ×breadth sq.unit

⇒ Perimeter of square =4×side sq. unit

⇒ Perimeter of rectangle =2×(l+b) sq. unit
