Step-by-step explanation:

Area of square gardens = 400m^2

Then, side =

\sqrt{400}

400

=20m is side of garden from out side

But there is a path of 2.5m all around inside it

\begin{gathered}we \: have \: to \: subtract \: 2.5 + 2.5 \: from \: 20m \: \\ \end{gathered}

wehavetosubtract2.5+2.5from20m

{(20-(2.5+2.5)} m =15m is side of new square

area \: of \: path \: = {area \: of \: garden} \: - area \: of \: new \: squareareaofpath=areaofgarden−areaofnewsquare

Area of path = {400 - (15×15)}m^2

= {400-225}m^2

=175 m^2

Cost of path per Rs 30

=175 ×30

=5250 Rs
