The side of the square park =60m

The length of the rectangular park=90m

According to the question,

Area of square park=Area of rectangular park

⇒ side×side=length×breadth

⇒60×60=90×breadth

⇒ breadth=9060×60=40m

Thus, the breadth of the rectangular park is 40m.

Given:-

Area of a square Park is the same as of a rectangular Park.

side of the square Park = 16 m

length of the rectangular Park = 90 m

To Find:-

Breadth of the rectangular park

Solution:-

Area of square park = a²

= 60²

= 3600 m²

therefore, area of rectangular park = 3600 m²

=> L × B = 3600

=> 90 × B = 3600

=> B = 3600/90

=> B = 40 m
