Given :

The Area of a Square park is the same as the area of a Rectangular park.

Length of the Rectangular park = 180m

Length of side of Square park = 150m

To Find :

Breadth of Rectangular park.

Used Formulas :

Area of the Rectangle = Length×Breadth (L×B)

Area of the Square = Side×Side (S×S)

$olution :

First we have to find the Other sides of Square park.

Length of side of Square park = 150m

Area of the Square = Side×Side (S×S)

= 150×150

= 22500m

∴ Area of the Square park is 22500.

Now we have to find the Breadth of Rectangular park.

The Area of a Square park is the same as the area of a Rectangular park.

Length of the Rectangular park = 180m

Area of the Rectangle = Length×Breadth

22500 = 180×B

22500/180 = B

125m = B

∴ Breadth of the Rectangular park is 125m

QUESTION:-

The area of a square park is the same as the area of a rectangular park. if the length of the rectangular park is 180 m and length of side of square park is 150 m find the breadth of rectangular park

GIVEN:-

  • Length of the Rectangular park = 180m
  • Length of side of Square park = 150m

TO FIND:-

  • Breadth of Rectangular park.

ANSWER:-

According to the question

Length of side of Square park = 150m

Area of the Square = Side×Side (S×S)

= 150×150

= 22500m

so, Area of the Square park is 22500.

Now,

the Breadth of Rectangular park.

Length of the Rectangular park = 180m

Area of the Rectangle = Length× Breadth

22500 = 180*B\\breadth= \frac{22500}{180}\\ breadth= 125m

hence, the Breadth of the Rectangular park is 125m

          Hope it helps :D
