Answer

Area=60025 m square =side^2

Therefore, side of field= 245m

Now, the perimeter or the length of boundary of field= 4*side= 980m

Now, we know that speed=distance/time

But given speed is in km/hr

So, speed in m/s= 18*(1000/3600) =18*(5/18) = 5m/s

Now, speed = distance/ time

So, 5= 980/t

So, time taken= 980/5= 196 seconds

or 3 minutes 16 seconds.

Answer:

Area of a square plot = 60025 m²

We know that,

Area of a square = a² where a is the side's length.

→ a² = 60025

→ a² = (245)²

→ a = 245 m

Length of side of the square plot = 245 m

We have to find:

The cost of fencing the plot at rate of Rs. 50 per m.

Cost of fencing the plot = 50 * perimeter of the plot.

Perimeter of a square = 4a

Hence,

Cost of fencing the plot = 50 * 4 * 245

→ Cost of fencing the plot = Rs. 49,000

Hence, it costs Rs. 49,000 to fence the p-lot.
