Area of square= a²

Therefore, a= \sqrt{a²}

Therefore, a= \sqrt{84.64}  = 9.2m

Now, perimeter= 4a= 4(9.2)= 36.8 sq. m

Hope this helps you

Answer:

\bigstar{\bold{Side\:of\:the\:plot=9.2\:m}}

\bigstar{\bold{Perimeter\:of\:the\:plot=36.8\:m}}

Step-by-step explanation:

\Large{\underline{\underline{\bf{Given:}}}}

  • Area of the square plot = 84.64 m²

\Large{\underline{\underline{\bf{To\:Find:}}}}

  • Side of the plot
  • Perimeter of the plot

\Large{\underline{\underline{\bf{Solution:}}}}

→ First we have to find the side of the square.

→ Area of a square is given by,

 Area of a square = side × side

→ Substituting the value of area we get the side of the square

  Side² = 84.64

  Side = √84.64

  Side = 9.2 m

→ Hence the side of the plot is 9.2 m

\boxed{\bold{Side\:of\:the\:plot=9.2\:m}}

→ Now we have to find the perimeter of the plot.

→ Perimeter of a square is given by

 Perimeter = 4 × side

→ Substituting the value for side,

  Perimeter =  4 × 9.2

  Perimeter = 36.8 m

→ Hence perimeter of the plot is 36.8 m

\boxed{\bold{Perimeter\:of\:the\:plot=36.8\:m}}

\Large{\underline{\underline{\bf{Notes:}}}}

→ The perimeter of a square is given by,

  Perimeter of a square = 4 × a

→ The area of a square is given by,

   Area of a square = a²

  where a is a side of the square
