area \: of \: circle \:  = \pi {r}^{2}

 \frac{1408}{7}  =  \frac{22}{7}  \times  {r}^{2}

 \frac{1408}{7}  \times  \frac{7}{22}  =  {r}^{2}

r² = 1408/22 = 64

Radius of circle (r) = 8

Diameter = 2r = 2 X 8 = 16

Diagonal of a square is equal to diameter of a circle which inscribe in it.

.: Diagonal of Square = 16 cm

area \: of \: a \: square \:  =  \frac{diagonl }{ \sqrt{2} }
