the area of a town in the form of a square is 729 sq. km. what is the length of each side ?

Area of square = side x side = (side)² = (a)², where a is the side of square

Now area of square town is = 729 sq km

(a)² = 729

a = √729

a = 27

So we get the length of the side of square as 27 km

length of each side will be 27 km.
