The area of a traingle 8s (x^(2)-7x-18) sq units . If it's height is (x+2)units find its base ?​

Answer:

area of triangle =1/2×base×height

1/2×base ×(x+2)= x^2-7x-18

1/2×base×(x+2)=(x-9)(x+2)

now( x+2 ) will cut in both side

1/2×base =(x-9)

therefore, base=2(x-9)
