The area of a traingle is equal to that of a square whoes each side measures 60m .find the side of the traingle whoes corresponding altitude is 90m

according to the question the area of triangle and square is same....... so.....

area of square = area of triangle

side*side= 1/2*base*height

60m*60m = 1/2 * base * 90m

3600m^2 = base * 45m

3600/45 = base

80m = base

therefore the required (side) base = 80m
