Base of the ∆ = 5x cm
Altitude of the ∆ = 5x/2 cm
Area of the triangle = 1/2×5x×5x/2 = 25x^2/4 sq cm

Base = 5x

Altitude = 5x/2

Area = 1/2 * 5x * 5x/2 cm^2

or, Area = 25x^2/4 cm^2

Hope this helps.
