Let the length of the smaller parallel side =x cm

Then the length of the other parallel side =2x cm

Area of trapezium=

2

1

×Sum of parallel sides×height

⇒90=

2

1

×(x+2x)×6

⇒90=3x×3

⇒90=9x

⇒x=

9

90

=10

∴x=10cm

Hence the length of the two sides are 10cm,20cm
