Let the area of trapezium be A...

Let the one side be a and the other side is a-16.....

A= 1/2× sum of parallel sides ×height

300 = 1/2 × (a + a-16) × 15.

= (a + a - 16) × 15 = 600 (300 × 2)

(2a-16) × 15 = 600.

(2a-16) = 600 / 15

(2a-16) = 40.

2a= 56 ( 40 + 16 )

a = 56/2

a = 28m

And...

a- 16 = 12m..
