Let the length of the other parallel side be x


Area= 105 cm^ 2 (given)

Parallel side = 28 cm (given)

Height = 5 cm (given)

$Area \: of \: trapezium = \frac{1}{2} \times (sum \: of \: parallel \: sides) \times h$



$= > 105 = \frac{1}{2} \times (28 + x) \times 5$



$= > 21 = \frac{1}{2} \times (28 + x)$




$= > 21 \times 2 = 28 + x$



$= > 42 - 28 = x$





$= > x = 14 \: \: cm$
