since,
height of trapezium = 12 metre
let one of the parallel side of trapezium be "x".
so, other parallel side = (x + 10) metre
we know that ,
area of trapezium = × sum of parallel sides × height
=> 120 m² = × (x + x + 10) ×
=> 120 = 2x + 10 × 6
=> 2x + 10 =
=> 2x + 10 = 20
=> 2x = 20 - 10
=> 2x = 10
=> x =
=> x = 5 metre
hence ,
one of the parallel side = x = 5 metre
and , the longer parallel side = x + 10 = 5 + 10 = 15 metre

Here is your answer mate...
Given.:- Area = 120m^2
Height / Altitude = 12m
One parallel side = 10 m
Let the other parallel side be x ,
》 Area of trapezium = Height× (sum of parallel side) ÷2
》 120m^2 = 12m×( 10m + x ) ÷ 2
》 120m^2 = 60m + 6x
》 6x = 60m - 120m
》 6x = 60m
》 x = 60/6
》 x = 10m Ans.
So, the other parallel side is 10 m.
Hope it will help you...
