let one parallel side of trapezium is x

therefore 2nd parallel side x+6

we know that

A=(a+b/2)× h

 \frac{(x + x + 6)}{2}  \times 8 = 120 \\ (2x + 6)4 = 120 \\ 2x + 6 = 30 \\ 2x = 30 - 6 \\ 2x = 24 \\ x = 12

thus , the length of one side is 12 cm and 2nd is 12+6=18cm.
