The area of trapezium

$= \frac{1}{2} .(a + b).h$

$\frac{1}{2} \times (x + 2x - 5) \times 1.4 \: = 15.4$

$3x - 5 = 22$

$x = \frac{27}{3} = 9$

The one part is 9 m and other part is (18-5) = 13 m.
