The area of a trapezium is 1686 cm and the
distance between its parallel sides is 24 cm.
If one of the parallel sides is 74 cm long, find
the length of the other.​

So area = 1686 cm^2

Distance = 24 cm

One parallel side = 74 cm

Let the other parallel side be 'x'

So equating in formula,

1686 = 24/2 * (74 + x)

1686 = 12 * (74 + x)

1686/12 = 74 + x

140.5 = 74 + x

x = 140.5 - 74

x = 66.5 cm

Therefore, the length of the other parallel side is 66.5 cm
