1/2*h*sum of parallel side =168

1/2*8*(x+x+6)=168

8*(2x+6)=168*2

2x+6=(168*2)/8

2x+6=42

2x=42-6

2x=36

x=36/2

x=18cm

x+6=

18+6

=24
