the area of a Trapezium is 180cm² and it's height is 12cm if one of the parallel sides is double the other side find the two parallel sides​

Answer: Area of trapezium= 180cm²

Height= 12cm

Let one of the parallel sides be x

So, other side=2x  

Area of trapizium=1/2*(sum of parallel sides)*height

180=1/2(x+2x)*12

180=3x*6

3x=180/6

3x=30

x=10

Other side=2x=2*10=20

So the two parallel sides are 10cm and 20cm
