The area of a trapezium is 182 cm2. Its height is 14 cm .The larger parallel sides is longer than the other sides by 16cm. Find the height of the parallel sodes

Area of Trapezium = 1/2×(sum of parallel sides)×h

182= 1/2 ×( x+16+x)× 14

182 =7×2x+16

182= 14x +16

14x=182-16

Therefore, x= 166/14

=11.85 ans
