Step-by-step explanation:

area of trapezium= 1/2 × h × sum of parallel sides

so let's take the parallel sides be x

then another parallel side be x+6

so,as per formula

1/2 ×8 cm × (x+ x+6)= 200 cm²

then 8 is divided by 2 which results in 4

4× (2x+6)=200 cm²

8x + 24= 200 cm ²

8x= 200-24=176

x=176/8

=22 cm

x+6 = 22+6 =28 cm

so the parallel sides are 22cm and 28 cm

hope it helps
