$\sf \: distance \: between \: two \: parallel \: sides \: = height \: of \: trapezium$

$\sf216 = \frac{1}{2} h(l + b) \\ \\ \sf = 216 = \frac{1}{2} h(13 + 23) \\ \\ \sf = 216 = \frac{1}{2} h \times 36 \\ \\ \sf = h = \frac{216 \times 2}{36} = \frac{ \cancel{432}}{ \cancel{36}} = 12 \\ \\ \sf = h = 12cm$
