Area of trapezium =height*(sum of parallel sides)/2

Here, 216=12(x+x-14)/2

216/12 =2(x-7)/2

18=x-7

18+7=x

25 =x

Then the sides are

25 and 25-14=11

1/2×h(a+b) =216
1/2×12 [x+x-14]=216
6(2x-14)=216
12x-84 = 216
12x = 216+84
x = 300/12
x = 25
one side = x
= 25m
second side = x-14
= 25-14
= 11m
