Let one parallel side be x.
We know that
Area of trap. = 1/2*(sum of ll sides)*h.
228= 1/2*(x+12)*12
228= (x+12)*6
=> 228/6=x+12
=> 38= x+12
=> x= 38-12
=> x= 26
REQUIRED PARALLEL SIDE IS 26CM.
