height = 8m

let one parallel side (a) be (x-4)m
another (b) = x m

Now,
Area = 1/2×(sum of parallel sides) × height

=> 248 = 1/2 × (x-4 + x ) × 8

=> 248 = 4(2x -4)

=> 248 = 8x - 16

=> 248 + 16 = 8x

=> 264 = 8x

=> 264/8 = x

=> 33 = x

Hence

one parallel side (a) = (x-4) = 33-4 = $\bf{29m}$

another parallel side (b) = $\bf{33m}$
