Answer:

area of trapezium = 1/2(sum of parallel side)×height

2500=1/2(75+x)×40

2500×2=(75+x)×40

5000/40=75+x

125=75+x

x=125-75

x=50

Answer:

we know that area of trapezium= 1/2 ×Sum of parallel sides×Distance between them.

let its parallel sides is say a1 & a2 and its height(distance between their parallel sides )=h

Step-by-step explanation:

hence ,

         Area=1/2 x (a1+a2) x h

        >>  2500=1/2 x (75+a2) x 40

       >>   2500/20= 75 + a2

       >>  125-75  = a2

        >>  a2 = 50 m

so , its other parallel side is 50m.

I hope it helps.
