the area of a Trapezium is 300 metre square the perpendicular distance between the two parallel side is 15 M if the difference of the parallel side is 16 m find the length of the parellel side

Here is your answer....

Given,

Distance between the two parallel sides = 15m

One side = 16m

Area of trapezium = 300m

Let us take the Other side = x

Area of trapezium = 1/2×h(a+b)

300 = 1/2×15 (16+x)

300= 5 (16+x)

300/5 = 16+x

60= 16+x

60-16 = x

44=x

The other side is 44m.
