one the length of the parallel side be x

The other is x + 16

{\huge{\underline{\small{\bold{\red{by\: using\: formula -}}}}}}

Area \:of\: a\: trapezium\: = \:1/2\: ( a + b ) \:h

300 = 1/2 (x + x + 16) (15)

300 = 15/2 (2x + 16)

600 = 15(2x + 16)

600 = 30x + 240

30x = 360

x=12

the length of the parallel sides:

{\huge{\underline{\small{\bold{\red{one\: side -}}}}}}

x = 12 m

x\: +\: 16\: =\: 12 \:+ \:16 =\: 28 \:m

The 2 lengths are 12m and28m
