Area of trapezium
= 1/2 × (sum of parallel sides) × height
=> 304 = 1/2 × (34 + 42) × h
=> 304 = 1/2 × 76 × h
=> 304 = 38 × h
=> h = 304/38
=> h = 8
Answer :- 8 cm
= 1/2 × (sum of parallel sides) × height
=> 304 = 1/2 × (34 + 42) × h
=> 304 = 1/2 × 76 × h
=> 304 = 38 × h
=> h = 304/38
=> h = 8
Answer :- 8 cm

Solution⤵️
Given,
area of trapezium=304cm^2
length of the parallel sides are 34cm and 42cm
to find: Height
Since,
area of trapezium=304cm^2
so,
1/2×h(a+b)=304
=>1/2×h(34+42)=304
=>1/2×76h=304
=>38h=304
=>h=304/38
=>h=8cm
therefore, distance between the two parallel sides is 8cm
