Answer:

First Of all the area of a trapezium is 1/2 × H × ( a + b )

Where a and b are the parallel sides.

So,

Area = 34cm²

Height = 4cm

a = 10cm

b = ?

----> 1/2 × 4 × ( 10 + b ) = 34

----> 2 x ( 10 + b ) = 34

----> 10 + b = 34 ÷ 2

----> 10 + b = 17

----> b = 17 - 10

----> b = 7cm
