The area of a trapezium is 34 cm and the length of one of the parallel sides
10 cm and its height is 4 cm. Find the length of the other parallel side.​

Area of trapezium= 34cm^2

Length of parallel side=10 cm

Height=4cm

Let the length of other side be "x" cm

Area=1/2(sum of parallel sides) × (distance between them)

34=1/2(10+x)(4)

34=1/2(40+4x)

34=20+2x

2x=34-20

2x=14

x=7cm
