Let the length of other parallel side be b.

Length of one parallel side, a = 10 cm

hight, h = 4 cm and

Area of trapezium = 34 cm²

Formula for area of trapezium =\boxed{\frac{1}{2}×(a+b)h}

\longrightarrow{ 34= \frac{1}{2}×(10+b)×4}

\longrightarrow{34=2×(10+b)}

\longrightarrow{2×(10+b)=34}

\longrightarrow{10+b=\frac{34}{2}}

\longrightarrow{10+b=17}

\longrightarrow{b=17-10}

\longrightarrow{b=7}

Hence, another required parallel side is 7 cm
