(1/2)(10+b2)4= 34
10+b2= 17
b2= 7 cm

Given,

Length of one of the parellal side = 10cm
Height = 4cm
Area = 34cm²


Area of trapezium

$= \frac{1}{2} h(a + b)$

$34 = \frac{1}{2} \times 4(10 + b)$

$34 \times 2 = 4(10 + b)$

68 = 40 + 4b

$68 - 40 = 4b$

28 = 4b

$b = \frac{28}{4}$
b = 7


So,

The height of trapezium is 7cm
