area of trapezium =(1/2)(b1+b2)h= 34
(1/2)(10+b2)4= 34
10+b2= 17
b2= 7 cm
so the another parallel side is 7cm

Let the length of other parellal side be ' b'

Given,

Length of one of the parellal side = 10cm
Height = 4cm
Area = 34cm²

Area of trapezium

 =  \frac{1}{2} h(a + b)

34 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times 4(10 + b)

34 \times 2 = 4(10 + b)

68 = 40 + 4b

68 - 40 = 4b

28 = 4b

b =  \frac{28}{4}
b = 7

So,

The height of trapezium is 7cm
