the area of a Trapezium is 34 CM square and the length of one of the parallel side is 10 cm and its height is 4 cm find the length of the another parallel side.

area of trapezium =34 cm
1st parallel side =10cm
2nd parallel inside =?
height=4
area = (1/2)*(sum of parallel side)*h
34 =(1/2)*(10+x)*4
34*2 =(10+x)*4
68 =40 + 4x
4x = 68-40
4x=28
x=28/4
x= 7
