Area of trapezium=34cm²

➠ Area  \: of  \: trapezium =  \frac{1}{2}  \times (l _{1}  +  l_{2}) \times h

➠34 =  \frac{1}{2}  \times (10 \times x) \times 4

➠34 = 20  + 2x

➠  \: x = 7

Given,

Area  \: of  \: Trapezium = 34cm {}^{2}

Length  \: of \:  one \:  parallel \:  side  = \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  a = 10cm

Let  \: the \:  length \: of \: other \: parallel \: side \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \: = b \: cm

Now,

Area  \: of  \: Trapezium =  \frac{1}{2} (a + b) \times h

 = 34 =  \frac{1}{2} (10 + b) \times 4

34 = (10 + b) \times 2

34 = 20 + 2b

34 - 20 = 2b

14 = 2b

 \frac{14}{2}  = b

7 = b

b = 7

∴ Length of other parallel side = 7cm.
