Area of trapeium= =34cm^2=34cm

2

Length of parallel side=10 cm

Height=4cm

Let the length of other side be "x" cm

Area=\frac{1}{2}\left(sum\ of\ parallel\ sides\right)\times\left(dis\tan ce\ between\ them\right)

2

1

(sum of parallel sides)×(distance between them)

34=\frac{1}{2}\left(10+x\right)\left(4\right)

2

1

(10+x)(4)

34==\frac{1}{2}\times\left(40+4x\right)=

2

1

×(40+4x)

34=20+2x

2x=34-20

2x=14

x=7cm
